Biola Akinyemi hails from Ojowo Community in Ogun State and so decided that charity had to begin at home when he, through his eponymous foundation, offered one year of free healthcare to 100 families in the community.

In the immediate, the Biola Akinyemi Foundation on the 22nd of July, 2024, offered free medical outreach to over 250 individuals in the community which is located in Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State .
Sharing his motivation for the outreach, Mr. Biola Akinyemi, in his opening remarks, said: “My zeal to help my hometown and community stems from the issues I observed while growing up here.
“I hope that with the partnership of well-meaning Nigerians, we will be able to impact and provide support in areas such as access to better healthcare, education, sports development, and youth leadership,” he said.

The Chairman of the Ijebu North Local Government Area, Bolaji Odusanya was ably represented by Mr. Niyi Sojirin; while the Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo Kingdom was as well represented by Chief Kuti.
