Ecobank is making the tough terrain of business much easier to navigate, thanks to its recently launched application for businesses known as Omni Lite App.

A highly secure, world-class and integrated electronic banking platform designed to help clients manage their Business accounts online in a secure, flexible, efficient and convenient manner, Omni Lite is a fully integrated multi-geography, multi-lingual and multi-currency online, web-based cash management platform. The Ecobank Group is launching this evolutionary app across 33 countries in Africa where it operates.

The Omni Lite App is a bank customer’s delight as it enables faster processing of instructions with loading option or file import for mass payments. It also features a customizable environment with choice of language, time zone and comprehensive user-friendly navigation menu. Its state-of-the-art architecture is in line with international safety standards and it is designed to enhance productivity and manage cash flow. These features account for its enhanced cash management capabilities including account services, payments, collections, liquidity management, detailed and customisable reports, amongst others.

Ecobank Executive Director Commercial Banking, Carol Oyedeji, while speaking at the launch in Lagos, said Omni Lite is in line with company policy direction to meet and surpass customers’ expectations, assuring that it will bring flexibility as well as safer and convenient banking to the users. While disclosing that the app is available to existing Omni Lite users, she urged them to download it from the Apple Store (IOS) or the Play Store (Android).

Giving credence as to why the product is called Omni (meaning ‘all’, ‘every’) Mrs. Oyedeji said that “With the new Omni Lite App, users can view their accounts and transactions in one place, make payments and pay bills with ease, set up multiple users with different access launch, make and manage loan payment, book time deposits and view exchange rates.” And in addition, “This electronic portal also allows customers manage all their online business, banking transactions and information 24/7.  With easier navigation and experience that is perfectly suited to smartphones, clients can enjoy features similar to the desktop version.”

Ecobank is known to have an enviable suite of state of the art banking products including Xpress Cash, which enables users to withdraw cash from ATMs using only a mobile phone, no ATM card required; and Rapidtransfer, Ecobank’s proprietary money transfer service which enables users send funds across borders, affordably and instantly. A major selling point for the Rapidtransfer app is that it can be used by Ecobank customers and non customers alike.
